Works better than great running Linux Mint
G10 Ryzen 5 3500U 16GB DDR4 + 512GB SSD. I bought this specifically for Linux Mint. I booted the G10 from a Thumb drive of BOOTABLE Linux mint. Keep pressing the ESC key to get into the BIOS to change the boot order. I was NOT able to use the Dual Boot option to Keep Win 11--it kept defaulting into Win11 setup, and thats why I used the FORMAT Drive option below to physically replace Win 11. I used the Format and Install Mint on the SSD (Which formats a ext4 filesystem over Windows NTFS--it is not recoverable to windows after this step). AND I deleted the windows recovery drives so they would not show up in the BIOS. It worked great, and booted into Linux Mint after restarting. Took about an hour to update packages and install mu apps. Since this hardware setup is for a Low Power Mid speed CPU and extra RAM and a SSD for Win 11 Apps, THIS G10 screams under Linux. It is very Fast and uses little resources once everything is installed and updated. . . Youll need a wired keyboard and Dongle Mouse if you encrypt your HDD, since Keyboards and Mice are NOT reconginsed until Linux is running. After running, I tried various BT speakers, mice and Keyboards all work! Shame the BIOS support them--yet. This is a GREAT value for a non-laptop Linux setup and I highly recommend it.

An HDMI cable was also included which is a nice touch.The media could not be loaded.
The top lid of the NucBox G10 pops off easily to reveal two M.2 2280 NVMe slots and two DDR4 2666 SO-DIMM slots for easy access. This is one of the few NUC mini PCs I've ever seen with multiple M.2 2280 NVMe slots, making M.2 NVMe external USB cases no longer necessary for copying or cloning between NVMe SSD drives. Perfect for keeping a spare NVMe SSD around for extra data storage within one convenient NucBox. The M.2 2280 NVMe SSD that comes with the unit even comes with a heatsink. After seeing this I'm updating my own standards to use always use heatsinks on my M.2 SSDs.
I was pleased to see how GMK does not cut corners where reliability and quality matter. The unit is very compact, yet for connectivity has two USB3.2 ports, one USB2.0 port, one HDMI 2.1 output, one DP 1.4 output, and one USB-C that supports both power and data. So plenty of connectivity options including support for 3 monitors.
For a recent release I somewhat expected WiFi6, so was slightly disappointed seeing how the unit comes with Wifi5 on the Realtek RTL8822CE. Bluetooth is 5.0 and the Ethernet LAN is 2.5G.
Windows 11 Pro is included, and after confirming activation with digital license, I extracted drivers with dism then reinstalled W11 fresh from the official MS media creation tool. The fresh reinstallation very smooth and quickly completed within 1 hour. However, beyond that the Windows Updates take quite a while as expected from Microsoft.
Once everything I needed was installed, I found this NucBox G10 mini PC with a Ryzen 5 3500U powerful enough to be my daily driver. I'm running VMware Workstation Pro with Kali on it and performance seems comparable to my existing older i5. Given the price point I found the performance quite amazing. Having two M.2 2280 slots on a unit this small is amazing as well.

I've also been using it as a NAS, and its been working. The windows 11 comes preinstalled, so it was very little at time consuming for any of the initial setups. The size was enough to punch it inside my room corners, and takes very little power from the previous models that uses n100.
The compatibility is top notch, as it's easy to install a new ssd or ram by popping up the title cover, and add away to your heart's desires. I added an extra 1TB to dual boot, but it's definitely managable with just 512 gb of storage. The fans are pretty much silent. never knew they were even running until I was halfway on my cyberpunk with max resolution. The front two usb 3.0 ports are fast for booting and reading, while the bios is fast and secure boot disabled, which saved me from having to troubleshoot why my grub wasn't loading for 2 hours. The quality of the build seems to be good, I have only completed the initial setup and the Windows updates. I have also setup MS office and worked my email accounts, but have not tried any games or other applications yet. So I cannot really speak to performance, but it is good so far. I wish these mini PCs would have more USB-C or even Thunderbolt ports instead of the USB-A ports, but there did not seem to be too many options in mini pc's around this pricing. I will see how it goes from here.

Performance: Very good. All my apps open fast without any issues. All the typical Windows, Google desktop and my other well-used programs operated smoothly. Also, for a small unit, it is very quiet.
Video: Very good. I hooked mine using the HDMI port (it also comes with a HDMI cable) to my large screen TV. No problem.
Set-up: Very easy. My GMKtec Mini PC G10 package came with a power cord, power adapter, and HDMI cable. The Mini PC connected easily to my home wi-fi. It also has a hard-wired LAN port for a wired connection. I simply disconnected my old pc system and plugged in the G10, and it was ready to go
Size: Very small cube size. Looks like about 4 inches on each side
Overall: I would highly recommend the GMKtec Mini PC G10. It is a good value and has very good performance.
It has all the normal features a Windows PC should have; it connects to the internet easily; it has lots of ports for peripheral devices. with lots of USB ports. If you are like me and don’t want a huge computer taking up a lot of desk space, and want one at a good price, the Mini PC G10 will be a good choice.

Bunu da eski fansız PC gibi oyun dışı, ofis uygulamaları ve müzik dinlemede, video seyretmede kullanıyorum. Ryzen 5 3500U işlemci, İntel e göre biraz yavaş kalıyor. Belki işletim sistemi win 11 den de olabilir. Gerçi bu da 5 yıllık işlemci. Eski model sayılır. Ekran kartı renkeler ve ses daha iyi geldi bana. Fiyat olarak Almanya ya göre çoğu vergilerden kaynaklı olsa gerek, çok yüksek kalıyor. Win 11 Update ler çok uzun sürdü. Fan sesi oldukça az. Balanced ayarında çalışıyor. Win11 dijital lisans olarak etkinleşti.

The G10 with a AMD Ryzen 53500U sips power at the default setting and has the 4 cores/8 threads to perform office tasks, minor gaming, and the server tasks (Network Attached Storage in my case) that I was looking for. This would also be a great second PC for your house, especially if you have limited space.
It was easy to set up - open the box, remove the sticker off the back, and plug it into your existing keyboard/mouse/monitor or TV. The Windows 11 set up took a little time but that happens on all PCs. Windows 11 Pro is included. I let the Windows update run and download all the updates and then wanted to run a quick test. I used Blackmagic Design's RAW Speed Test and was surprised to see that it could handle editing 2160p30 for both the CPU and GPU with BRAW 3:1 - I can take this as a basic portable video editor.
Pros:
Includes HDMI cable
Low out-of-the-box power consumption (you can adjust the TDP in the BIOS if you want it faster).
Extremely quiet
65W USB power adapter included so no proprietary power adapter to worry about.
Clean install of Windows 11 (no garbageware)
Upgradable (open NVMe slot (up to 16TB total), swappable Dual Channel DDR4 SODIMM RAM (up to 64GB))
